Happy September Olympia! The leaves are starting to turn orange and the cold months are coming. Here’s a few things happening and coming up this month at the WCPNC!

West Central Park Happenings

Market season is still going until mid-October, so don’t miss out on all the fall goodies from some of our favorite local farmers and vendors! Visit the market Tuesdays from 4pm – 7pm at the West Central Park on the corner of Harrison and Division. There’s also plenty of gorgeous tomatoes at the park garden free for the snacking! We hate to see them go to waste and welcome all our neighborhood nibblers young and old to come share in the fresh free produce love!

Equinox Dance Party

Come out for a free night of fun and dancing at the park! Join our friends from the West Central Park Project as they feature The Hinges and High Ceiling for their equinox dance party! Saturday, September 23 – 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM

The Marie Bed & Breakfast

As many of you have noticed, there’s a lot happening over at 123 Cushing, the future home of The Marie Bed and Breakfast. Over the next couple months, we will be breaking ground on the two new cabin additions on the south side of the property and doing some major landscaping changes as we move closer to our grand opening. We’ll be posting more on our website here and our social media pages as we get closer! You can also follow The Marie B&B on Facebook for more information at facebook.com/themariebnb.

The Park Side Cafe

As for the Park Side Cafe at 1909 Harrison, we are moving closer to the next phase of this exciting new addition to the neighborhood! We are on the final stretch to obtain our building permit and plan on breaking ground this fall. Once construction begins, we anticipate completion and opening sometime in mid to late 2018. Stay tuned here for more updates on building progress and hiring events as we move closer to opening!
