Seasons greetings from all of us at the West Central Park Neighborhood Center! There’s a lot happening around the block this season and we don’t want you to miss a thing! If you’ve been here recently, you’ve likely noticed the recent construction happening at 135 Cushing Street. We’re well into our latest development project, which will include a public restroom facility and a new parking lot. In addition to these new features, we will be making some updates to our current business office and doing a complete remodel of the main building to convert it into two residential apartments. We’re aiming for completion in 2024 if all goes well!
Next door at 1909 Harrison Avenue, we’ve seen some wonderful growth in our food court over the past year! The space is now home to three trucks including OlymPITA, All About Pad Thai, and Kabocha Food Truck, which will be opening to the public next month! Be sure to follow Kabocha on Instagram or Facebook for more updates on their grand opening.

Join us for holiday shopping with a large selection of local vendors, including foods and crafts. Plus enjoy hot drinks and carol singers to entertain you as you shop! Yuletide Open House at The Marie Bed & Breakfast

Come celebrate at The Marie Bed & Breakfast for their annual Yuletide Open House featuring live holiday jazz music from Almost Blue! Enjoy hot drinks and fresh baked treats, tour the house and grounds, and get into the holiday spirit. Plus, enter our holiday raffle for a chance to win a two night stay and lots of other goodies from their vendors!
Entrance to this event is free. Raffle tickets are priced as follows:

LIGHT UP THE WEST CENTRAL PARK
It’s the season of lights and we’re trying to raise funds to bring holiday lights back into the West Central Park this year! All funds raised in this fundraiser will go towards the purchase of lighting and efforts to put the lighting up! The West Central Park is a community asset and the best we can do is to use it to bring joy to the community in whatever ways that we can. Help us adorn the Park in twinkling lights this year for all who walk or drive by to enjoy!
